Lighthouse 96, SEO 100 — from a 50-score legacy site

Premium Advisory Website Rebuild

Ground-up rebuild of a London boutique advisory firm's digital presence. Transformed a low-performing legacy website into an industry-leading platform with near-perfect Lighthouse scores, WCAG AAA accessibility, and a "Quiet Luxury" design language targeting high-net-worth clientele.

The Challenge

A heritage professional services firm with 38+ years in operation had a website that was hurting their brand. Mobile Lighthouse performance scored 50/100 with an 11.5-second Largest Contentful Paint, accessibility at 65/100 with missing alt attributes and poor contrast, SEO at 83/100 with no meta descriptions or structured data, and a cumulative layout shift of 0.386 — content visibly jumping on every page load. The site projected "outdated practice" rather than the elite advisory boutique they actually were.

The Solution

Conducted deep competitor analysis and HNW client psychology research to develop a "Quiet Authority" design system — Oxford Navy backgrounds, Burnished Bronze accents, and editorial typography (Playfair Display + Inter) that whispers luxury rather than shouting it. Built 27 optimised pages on Next.js with server-side rendering, automatic code splitting, and an advanced caching architecture (1-year immutable static assets, AVIF/WebP image delivery across 8 responsive breakpoints). Authored 70 FAQ items (10,000+ words) targeting high-intent long-tail keywords, implemented 15 types of structured data (Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQPage, ProfessionalService), and future-proofed discovery with llms.txt for AI search systems.
